EVENTS OF IAJLB

Champ Lash Feerie is an international championship for eyelash extensions and eyebrow design held annually in Barcelona, Spain. Since its launch in 2018, it has established itself as one of the most prestigious events in the beauty industry, attracting professionals from all over the world.

History and Evolution

The first edition of Champ Lash Feerie took place in 2018 in Barcelona. Since then, the event has grown significantly, incorporating new categories and formats. In 2020, due to the pandemic, it adapted to an online format, allowing professionals from various countries to participate without the need to travel. In 2021, the in-person editions resumed, while also maintaining virtual options to expand its reach. The seventh edition was held from November 11 to 13, 2024, at the Gran Hotel Rey Don Jaime in Castelldefels, Barcelona.

Championship Structure

The championship is divided into several categories based on participants’ experience:
•⁠ ⁠Junior (less than 1 year)
•⁠ ⁠Master (1 to 3 years)
•⁠ ⁠Expert (more than 3 years)

The competitions include techniques such as Classic Extensions, 2-3D Volume, Russian Volume 4-7D, Lash Art (colored lashes), Lash Lifting, and Eyebrow Design. In addition to the competitions, the event offers conferences and workshops led by international experts, providing a unique opportunity for learning and networking.

Evaluation and Awards

The works are evaluated by certified judges from the International Association of Judges and Trainers (IAJLB), based on criteria such as symmetry, cleanliness, shaping, direction, and lash-to-eyelid distance. Winners receive diplomas, trophies, and gifts from sponsors. Special recognitions such as the “Top 10 Lash Makers” are also awarded to the most outstanding professionals of the year.

Participation and Upcoming Events

To participate, candidates must complete a registration form, receive email confirmation, and make the corresponding payment. Costs vary depending on the number of categories entered.
The next edition, Champ Lami Feerie 2025, will be held online, with evaluations scheduled from May 15 to 20, 2025, and results announced on May 25, 2025.

The next World Grand Championship (in-person) will take place on October 27, 2025, followed by the Beauty Business Congress 2025 on October 28, 2025, and the IAJLB Award Ceremony on October 28, 2025, all at the HOTEL CATALONIA RAMBLAS, BARCELONA, SPAIN.
